NEWS:INEC denies fresh registration for PVCs

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) yesterday debunked reports, particularly in the social media, that the commission has opened room for fresh registration for permanent voter’s cards.

The social media was awashed yesterday with the report of the commission beginning a new phase of registration to capture those who have not yet registered.

A statement from the commission's Director of Publicity and Voter Registration, Oluwole Osaze, yesterday explained that INEC was not in any way intending to embark on such an exercise.
