The Ondo state Speaker of House of assembly Bamidele Oloyelogun and his Deputy Speaker, Iroju Ogundeji, Friday were impeached.
According to Hon. Fatai Olotu, the duo was removed as a result of financial impropriety, incompetence and high handedness.
Subsequently, Hon. Olamide George has been sworn in as the new speaker of the House while Hon. Abimbola Fajolu has also been sworn in as the new deputy speaker.
